If you go to the opening page of AOND you will see an area marked groups. There you will find groups that are working out the nuts and bolts of how to build a better, more sustainable future.

Peace already exist on this world. The problem is many are still trapped in old thought forms and dreams. The key isn't to proclaim peace, but to be the very peace you are seeking. Just be the change you want to see.

Hey Violette, when I went to a peace march against the Iraq war, it was led by youth mostly college students. It was a cold, cold March day, and several buses could not even make it there. But still it was at least ten thousand of us, and it was mostly youth, or aging "hippies" like ourselves.
The U.S. media only covered the clash between the few hundred counter protestors and a few combative "peace" marchers, so the few hundred goons got as much publicity as the thousands of us.We did have European reporters covering our march, but was so dismayed at our media.
I was so relieved that youth was leading, as you know, our energies diminish over time.
I bet that are many "flower peace and love" children on this site - of all ages or they would not be here. Peace Now, Ron Now I call myself pro-peace and not anti-war as that term just puts you in a nonpeaceful opposition. Obviously, I was one of the great majority who did not scuffle with the counter protestors.
