Some random notes:

We really don't need to make animals suffer in order to keep our own bodies healthy, in fact, we would be better off if we didn't. Follow this link for a few quotes from people much smarter than me about this. http://www.veganloveplanet.com/2010/04/you-are-not-alone.html

didgeridoo December 12 2011

I had a bad cold for about a week, and could not do this until today. I missed it. You can't do circular breathing when you have a cold. I recorded this with my web cam and then added the visuals.

Concrete saw harmonics and Chaos

01:05
Last Saturday, I went to the Coop, and when I got out of the car, I heard this amazing flute-like sound coming from under the freeway bridge. The bridge was adding a lot of natural reverb to it, and making it sound haunting, even though the scale of…

The SAD Truth (Standard American Diet)

I have a question. Check out this screen shot:

And... we would all be much healthier than we are now, with less heart and circulation problems, cancer, and obesity. And... eating meat is brutal and cruel. Those who do it are less likely to be compassionate to other conscious beings of any kind. And... it's a HUGE burden on the ecology of our planet. Eating meat and dairy is extremely inefficient.…

The Bird, the Boy, and the Tortoise

Once there was a beautiful forest, and in a small clearing, there was a boy, taking a walk. As he walked, he began to hear a slow, plodding voice. The voice said, "Young man, young man? Could you help me?" He looked around and saw no one, but the voice continued, "No, down here, it's me, and I need help."
The boy looked down and finally saw where the voice was coming from. He laughed and said, "Wow, it's a talking turtle!". Slowly, the turtle said, "Actually, I am not…

My Soul Counseled Me
by Kahlil Gibran

My soul spoke to me and counseled me to love all that others hate,
And to befriend those whom others defame.
My soul counseled me and revealed unto me that love dignifies not alone the one who loves, but also the beloved.
Unto that day love was for me a thread of cobweb between two flowers, close to one another;
But now it has become a halo with neither beginning nor end,
Encircling all that has been, and waxing eternally to embrace all that shall be.
