There is a lot of fear bouncing around, and it's just an opportunity to respond with love.
This is how the two most recent posts connect for me: As Craig notes, a large part of our creation of the Big Picture has to do with how we choose to perceive. Some will take a look at the map that Mary Rose linked here and will respond with fear. Others will look at it as an opportunity to send loving thoughts to people who are unemployed, or as a chance to exercise courage, compassion or trust.

Hi Mary. I also greatly admire the list of pioneers that you mentioned.

Agreed that "quality of life" requires attention to "quality of consciousness." There is a tremendous shift happening now that is bringing attention to how consciousness (beliefs, thoughts, emotions, inner practices) affects health and well being. Some of this is driven by neuroscience research which is verifying what mystics have said for years...

For instance, there is great article in Wired Magazine this month on stress and how the perception of powerlessness is the greatest stress factor (people in stressful jobs thrive if they have a sense of power or control over their circumstances). Hopelessness is worse for your body than smoking (see: http://www.wired.com/wiredscience/2010/07/stress/).

The book "How God Changes Your Brain" by leading neuroscientist Andrew Newberg, M.D. and Mark Robert Waldman promotes meditation as essential for mental balance and longevity (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/style/longterm/books/chap1/bra...).

I believe that what we are seeing here is the emergence of a new science of the subjective that will likely verify many ancient wisdom teachings and, ultimately, surpass them. It will be interesting to see what practical applications result from this understanding, particularly as it relates to art, media and entertainment. There is much to learn...

Take a look at this map. It shows how the unemployment rate has changed over the past several months. When you get to the map, click the arrow in the middle and watch how things changed. Incredible what "The Great Recession" has done.

The old saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words" is never more true than looking at this map.

Viewing it only takes a few seconds.

The darker the color, the higher the unemployment. 2009 has been BRUTAL. Watch the changes in the map from Dec. 08 to 12/09 - SHOCKING

This is a startling map. Hard to believe!

Now We're getting somewhere...I believe we have come full circle. While reading the posts of the groups I'm on this past week, all hell seemed to have broken loose...lashed out...burned out and now...back on track. The July 17-18 weekend convergence, apparently ushering in the first day of our New Beginning was followed this last weekend by, what I personally felt was, a 'Bitch' of a full moon. Perhaps this confusing energy contributed to the flurry of off topic, overly passionate and, at times, condescending posts. We are now at that point on the ascending spiral of existence where the decaying old 'bumps' the new into motion. We are on the cusp of The New Dawn...Our New Beginning. Most do not wish to go back to the simple ways of the Indigenous cultures. However, once again we possess highly advanced, solution based technology that, when combined with the knowledge, wisdom and spirituality of the past indigenous cultures, will propel us forward into an intelligently designed future. Imagine a World of Peace and Freedom where there's music in the air and love is everywhere. For me, this group in particular, is the Heart of the matter...the Keeper of the Mission of the Architects..."To inspire, uplift, engage, and transform the global community through music and positive media content. To help bring about a world where we choose peace over conflict and love over fear".
Forward with the Past... This time We'll make it last!

I just copied this from Gregg Braden's status on Facebook

Gregg Braden: Just the way sound creates visible waves as it travels through a droplet of water, our "belief waves" ripple through the quantum fabric of the universe to become our bodies and the healing, abundance, and peace--or disease, lack, and suffering--that we experience in life. And just the way we can tune a sound to change its patterns, we can tune our beliefs to preserve or destroy all that we cherish, including life itself.

And while this may seem to be "off-topic" consider that everything in the universe is "information" encoded as a subtle energy vibration that gives the energy its intent. This is human consciousness in a nutshell.

It is about "how we think" - whether we think in ways that create chaos or coherence patterns in the universe of which we are all part of. It is about "energy" and how we can shift energy simply by choosing the manner in which we think. Carlo is doing some of this in his message as he writes: ". . .we can choose to respect. . ."

And what i am doing now is providing information that can be used by a large number of individuals at one time when distributed by mass media to aid in shifting the energy of the collective conscious of society today.

It is imperative that we learn about this new information which is a form of "energy healing" and convey it to billions of others. This is the wave of the future and it is now. The human mind is the most powerful force in the world and we need to learn how as individuals to manage this power in ways that are life-enhancing.

Some of the most informed people in the world today in this realm are Gregg Braden, Bruce Lipton, Patrick Flanagan (a member of this list), Vernon Woolf, Louise Hay, Alex Loyd, and members of the Institute of HeartMath. And i am also going to include myself since some of those mentioned above have told me they are also learning from me as i learn from them and some of these people i interact with on a regular basis. Carlo Ami also has a very find program he has developed along these lines entitled: Your Pause Button, and i recommend trying it out. Brooks Cole, also a member of this list is very well versed in how to shift energy by using the power of the mind to do so. Carlos Santana uses the power of his music to shift the energy of an audience as he plays as do many other musicians. Constance Demby, another list member is exceptionally talented at shifting energy in a way that creates a healing coherence pattern in the body and minds of listeners of her music. There are many others on this list who may be doing this, but i do not know them as yet.

But it is this new way (really old way since the Egyptians knew so much about this prior to the time of Christianity) of using and understanding energy and how to shift it in ways that heal that need to be revealed through the media. What we have now moved into is the realm of science as we leave "faith-based" religion and experience the new reality in ways that can be measured. We must now come to grips with "we are the body electric" and very much a part of the "electromagnetic energy field" that underlies all of life. And, the subtle energy patterns of our body can now be measured in inumerable ways, PET-scans, CT-scans, MRI's, eco-cardiograms, etc., etc., And, it is up to us as the media to convey this information to the public at large, and enable and empower them in using it for the benefit of all concerned. It must be "public property."

Note: I had not seen your most recent post here, Ed, when I made the post below. Thanks for responding to the idea of keeping on-topic. And I appreciate the C3 referral--just joined. Would like to know more about the Millenium Project. For some--like me!---as soon as someone says that they have a 7,000 page book for me to read....well, its a red flag. Ain't gonna happen. Are there sources for condensed information on that project? Couldn't tell much from their site.

Please know, Deborah, that I was not comparing you to Jerry Springer. My point was simply that we can choose to respect those with differing visions and opinions rather than label them or rush to take offense. Assuming that the term "founding fathers" is sexist or adding a possessive implication to the phrase, "my wife" is counter-productive to conscious expansion. It is "Old and Worn Out School".
My question to the group posted last week has not really been addressed, so will take one more shot at it: Do we want to create more focus and direction for this group? Do we want to keep it on-topic? Should it be about sharing ideas about transformative media, examples of it, and encouragement of those who are creating it?
Should we respond to those who post or just put up our own ideas for people to read?
If we want a quality discussion here, we must be an example of it rather than ego-based rushes to judgment.
As to the reform-transformation part of the discussion, it seems to me that we are now pressed to realize that the systems we have in place for governance and divisive/weakening religion are beyond reform and are in the process of being replaced. What I would like to see more of in this group discussion are posts having to do with recommended transformative media and entertainment, as well as information on what any group members are doing to create such media....and our encouragement of such creation.

Just a quick comment as i am very busy today. Thanks to everyone for their input here. Its what makes the world go round. And the world is made up of "subtle energy vibrations" and each of us and everything else in the universe is an energy field coded to accomplish its mission. Once we begin thinking at this level (quantum physics) then we learn how to manage the subtle energy vibrations of the human body in such a way as to create either chaos patterns or coherence patterns and then create the effects and affects that we want, both in ourselves and others.

Learning to manage our emotions (and create coherent fields in the commons) is the path to peace -- not only that of our own but of the world.

It is all a matter of human consciousness and how to manage it to create life-enhancing systems rather than death-defining ones. It is about learning how to create environments that are coherent, e.g., business systems, government, monetary systems, education system, etc.

Humanity is in the process of taking an enormous leap in the field of human consciousness, but there is nothing new here. It was all recorded in the libraries of Alexandria in Egypt before the Romans burned them. In order to create Christianity, the new religion they wanted to use to rule the world, they had to obliterate all that had gone before. They have almost succeeded, but in the process have almost destroyed the world as we know it.

I am holding the field (coherent) for events to unfold now to their full potential and in the best interests of all concerned.

May we joyously move into 2012 as a new cycle begins. with love and in gratitude and appreciation to everyone of us.

Chad the only creation that comes from nothing is intellectual property and even there you can say we are creating from our experiences and formal and informal education.
Transformation is the rejection of a system that no longer works. Most transformations start from the beginning as opposed to reform which just makes a few changes but allows the basic system to continue.

"founding mothers"... LOVE IT!

First off, transformation is not the opposite of reform. Both start with the past. I think this site is about creation. Creation comes from nothing. When god, buddha, or whomever says let there be light, they're not talking about stars, they're talking about you... let your light shine. The truth is within, not without. I try to stop seeing the void, the loss, and the lack in the world of others and start creating.
