There are a number of groups on AOAND that either promote taking a non violent stand against those who allude to power to the detriment of us all or offer sustainable alternatives to the current unacceptable status quo.

The way I see it, if we're all going in the same direction, it would help if we could all join hands. We need unity on this. I would urge all who feel strongly to join and lend support to any of the groups below of which you are not already a member. This will give us all equal access to shared information and ideas. Let's please unite and share.

Carry great joy

Carry great joy with you throughout this day. Spread it everywhere you go.

Hi folks,

I'm new to here, it's a great site and also through this group I just visited your site www.takecareofyourshare.com , that is a great resource.

I noticed your comment below Betsy and I understand the feeling entirely, I have put many hours into sites and spreading info etc and it can seem that it isn't getting to anyone that needs to see it or appreciates it but ........ it does get to people and it plants seeds. I know once I was told that we are the ones who can plant the seeds of Peace, wisdom, etc but we usually never get to see them grow, but that doesn't mean they aren't growing.

I have shifted my way of working for change, but I will never give up and as long as we all do what we can and at the same time remain as positive as possible and join together to spread positive energy (along with the physical effort to clean things up, spread awareness, etc) then there will be change and things will be the way they should be with the Earth being a safe, happy and healthy place for all beings.

Anyone around the Cincinnati area (or even collaborating over the web) that would like to join in a not for profit Music for Peace project http://SoundsLikePeace.org/ please contact me, it is intended to carry positive energy and will not really deal with many issues directly, just carry positivity and help join us together..

Hi Victor. My "solution" to Global Warming and the other environmental problems we are facing is to encourage all levels of government to educate and encourage their citizens to Take Care of Their Share of the planet.

Our objectives:

1) Encourage the creation of a central Federal website as a gateway to organizations that teach people how to Take Care of Their Share of the planet (EPA, NRCS, US Fish & Wildlife, etc.) as well as links to state portals.

2) Encourage the creation of websites for every state which provide links to the various government and nonprofit organizations within their state that provide the information residents need to become effective environmental stewards. These departments would include natural resources, conservation, native plant societies, fish & wildlife departments, cooperative extension system offices, solid waste departments, water management, etc.

3) Encourage governments to regularly inform residents of these sites through handouts at building and utility departments, driver license bureaus and other government offices.

4) Encourage the government to provide incentives through rebates, etc. for citizens to participate in the Take Care of Your Share campaign

5) Until these actions are taken, we will strive to provide our own portal to information to Educate and Encourage all citizens to Take Care of Their Share of the planet.

Yes, that's all I was asking. I'll use Governor Schwarzennegger (sp?) as an example. I got a message from him (supposedly) that said that he appreciates my work to solve the world's problems with Global warming. I'm sure it was just a form message. All I would like is for someone well-known -- actually, at this point, all I want is for ANYONE, ANYONE to login to my website or send me a message and say that they really like my idea. It's rather disheartening to spend so many hours a week trying to make a difference and not feel like anyone notices.
