Doreen, I somehow hadn't seen your last response there, sorry about that.

Glad you are contacting them and yes, Unity is our strength! There are people in positions of power that just need to hear enough voices for them to feel comfortable with standing up for what is right. They must hear us.

And Geisha, that is an awesome picture there. if that doesn't inspire a sense of awe in a person I am not sure what will!

You are right! I was watching a video yesterday where they talked of how science is finally proving (as if we needed proof, but it's good because some people feel the need of something proved by science) that a positive attitude and being aware of beauty affects the energy sent out by our heart and that energy affects the brain and as we know what we think and feel sends energy out to everything and everyone. I just visited your site and wanted to thank you for the events listing, that's good, thanks.

NOW is the time we must all join and connect, we need to talk and share time and info and wisdom and creative energies. I ask all that read this to find others on here (and elsewhere, but since this can be such a good resource especially on here) and become friends with them, share photos and videos and ideas, encourage interaction as so many people today are immersing themselves in great things like videos and such but we need to connect with those that made the videos, the music, wrote inspiring words or asked a question. Take the initiative and reach out, it is what we need.

There are a number of groups on AOAND that either promote taking a non violent stand against those who allude to power to the detriment of us all or offer sustainable alternatives to the current unacceptable status quo.

The way I see it, if we're all going in the same direction, it would help if we could all join hands. We need unity on this. I would urge all who feel strongly to join and lend support to any of the groups below of which you are not already a member. This will give us all equal access to shared information and ideas. Let's please unite and share.
